Office of Cabinet Affairs

The Chief Financial Officer of the state of Florida is one of three state-wide elected officials comprising the Florida Cabinet. Together with the Governor, the Cabinet acts as the "Agency Head" of certain functions of Florida state government. The Florida Cabinet is responsible for providing transparency while serving as a collective decision and rule making body for the state.

Cabinet Meetings

Meetings of the Governor and Cabinet are open to the public and are usually held monthly in the Cabinet Meeting Room on the Lower Level of the Capitol Building in Tallahassee. Cabinet meetings are occasionally held outside of the Capitol and offer a chance for Florida’s consumers from various regions of the state to have access to government decision-making in their community.
