Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia Announces His Legislative Priority to Fight Illegal Immigration

12/3/2025
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. –Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia announced his legislative priorities to further disincentivize illegal immigration into Florida and hold bad actors accountable.

Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia said, “Illegal immigration has scourged our communities. Too many lives have been lost, and too many people have been hurt as a result of illegal immigration. Florida has led the nation in fighting back against the mess that the Biden Administration created, but we must keep our foot on the gas and continue to disincentivize illegal aliens from coming to our state. I am proud to announce my anti-illegal immigration legislative priorities, and I look forward to working with the legislature and the Governor to get these proposals passed.”

Sheriff Robert Hardwick said, “The far-reaching impacts of illegal immigration have been felt by every community, and we must continue to take steps to protect the citizens of our state. I am thankful for CFO Ingoglia’s leadership and his commitment to ending illegal immigration into our state.”

Senator Jonathan Martin said, “Illegal immigration has negatively impacted every community in our state by rewarding criminals and victimizing law-abiding citizens. I am proud to support the CFO’s proposed legislation that ensures we are protecting our law-abiding businesses and families throughout the state.”

Representative Kiyan Michael said, “I know firsthand the tragedies that have resulted from rampant illegal immigration. In Florida, we have leaders who are not afraid to take a stand and do what is right to protect the law-abiding citizens of Florida. I am thankful for CFO Ingoglia’s continued efforts to stop illegal immigration to our state.”

Representative Berny Jacques said, “Florida has led the nation in fighting back against illegal immigration and this year is no different. I look forward to working with CFO Ingoglia to get this legislation across the finish line and to protect Floridians from the high cost of illegal immigration.”
