St. Augustine, Fla. – Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Atwater and Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier join with legislative members, local leaders and insurance company executives to tour Hurricane Matthew damage in St. John’s County.
Following the tour, participants will meet to discuss the insurance industry’s claims-handling response. As of Tuesday morning, more 29,000 insurance
claims have been filed statewide, totaling an estimated $170 million in losses.
