Below are questions commonly asked about the Licensee Search application.
How do I search for an individual?
Type in the individuals first or last name. A portion of a name will pull back all possible results.
How do I search for an agency or firm?
Type the agency or firm name in the appropriate box.
What happens if I select Resident on the drop down?
Your results will include only residents of Florida.
How do I print my licensee information?
Enter your name, license number or national producer number then select the blue "Search" button near the bottom of the page. Click on your light blue name near the bottom left side of the page. Right click anywhere on the page to print.
How do I get a list of all licensees for a specific type?
In the License Category box, use the drop down to make your selection.
How do I get a list of agents with no active appointment?
Check the box labeled "Only Licensees with No Qualifying Appointment".
How do I find individuals who recently became licensed in a specific category and have no active appointment?
Populate the "License Category" and check the box labeled "Only Licensees with No Qualifying Appointment." Select the blue "Search" button near the bottom of the page to return the results.
How do I search for a specific appointing entity?
On the Appointment tab, under the Appointing Entity, mouse over and click on the blue "Select". Enter the Entity Name, Entity Number or NAIC Code.
How do I search for licensees with outstanding continuing education requirements?
Click on the gray bar labeled Continuing Education. Enter the timeframe. Select the blue "Search" button near the bottom of the page.
How do I narrow the category when I am search for licensees with outstanding continuing education requirements?
Click in the License Category field and select from the drop down the category you want to search. Then click on the gray bar labeled Continuing Education. Enter the timeframe. Select the blue "Search" button near the bottom of the page.
How do I find individuals who recently became licensed in a specific category?
Populate the License Issue Date and the License Category and select the blue "Search" button near the bottom of the page.
Why does it take so long for the search to work?
There are more than a million records stored in the database. Your results will display when the query finishes running.
How often is the data updated for the Licensee Search?
The data on the Licensee Search is relatively real-time live data.
When will the Licensee Search incorporate enforcement and disciplinary action detailed information?
We plan to incorporate enforcement and disciplinary action detailed information within each licensee's record in a future update to the Licensee Search.
