Next Major Implementation
Florida PALM will build on the capabilities deployed during the CMS Wave by expanding on functionality in the implemented modules and implementing additional modules. The Financials Wave focuses on replacing functionality of Central and Departmental FLAIR. The Payroll Wave focus on replacing the functionality of the FLAIR Payroll. And the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence will replace the Information Warehouse, housing historical data and Florida PALM data. The Financial Wave, Payroll Wave, and Data Warehouse will be implemented at once, to all agencies in January 2026.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Agencies will have significantly more time to test their interfaces and their data in a production-like environment. Agency users will also have an opportunity to perform their work in the hands-on environment.
Hypercare
Hypercare includes rapid resolution of deficiencies, system issues, and enhancements in a manner to drive stabilization of both the Florida PALM and agency business operations.
Post-Implementation Support
Post-Implementation Support will provide support for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) from the Florida PALM system for Fiscal Year 2025-26, year-end and closing activities for the first fiscal year, and the calendar year-end 2026 Forms W-2 and 1099.
Sandbox
The Sandbox environment is a copy of production. Today, the Sandbox is available to CMS wave production users as a resource to test transactions or to just become more familiar with Florida PALM. After the next major implementation, end users will be able to access the sandbox for financial and payroll functions.
Data Warehouse
The Data Warehouse will include a static copy of the Information Warehouse at go live and post-go live Florida PALM data for CMS, Financials, and Payroll.
