About the Division
The Division of Insurance Agent & Agency Services is charged by the Chief Financial Officer of the State of Florida with the licensure, education, regulation and compliance of insurance agents, agencies, and adjusters. From soliciting new insurance business, to negotiating the settlement of an insurance claim, individuals must be properly educated, licensed, and appointed by insurance companies for the transaction of insurance business. Violations of the Florida Insurance Code are investigated and referred for Legal Action by our talented team of investigators within the Bureau of Investigation (BOI).
