TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, during a meeting of the Florida Elections Canvassing Commission, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis released a statement following the certification of voting returns in the 2024 General Election.

CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “It was an honor today to join Governor Ron DeSantis and Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson to certify Florida’s official voting returns for the 2024 General Election, including President-Elect Donald Trump’s victory in our state. In a time when transparency and efficiency in elections are more critical than ever, Florida has once again proven its leadership. While other states grappled with delays and uncertainty on election night and are still counting votes, Florida delivered swift and accurate results. Congratulations to Secretary of State Cord Byrd on another outstanding election season in Florida."
