CFO Blaise Ingoglia Demands Local Governments Comply with DOGE Review Without Imposing Bureaucratic Red Tape
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia sent a letter to all local governments being reviewed by Florida DOGE after receiving information that some government entities are trying to impose conditions and bureaucratic red tape on employees who are looking for waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars. CFO Ingoglia is committed to fighting on behalf of taxpayers and he will not stand for interference in this process. The CFO stands on the side of accountability and transparency, and he possesses broad constitutional and statutory audit authority to ensure fiscal responsibility from those entrusted with state dollars.
For government entities that do not wish to comply, CFO Ingoglia has one message: “The CFO has subpoena power to gain access to these files. I am not afraid to use that power.”
