Department of Financial Services COVID-19 Activity Update

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) provided new updates on Department activities regarding COVID-19.

• The CFO held a call with Florida Fire Chiefs statewide to receive updates on ongoing COVID-19 response including support of stand-up medical facilities and data collection measures to better understand firefighter workforce impacts.

• The CFO held a call with AAA CEO Joe Richardson regarding COVID-19 response.

• The CFO held a call with United Property and Casualty Insurance Corporation CEO John Forney regarding COVID-19 response.

• The CFO held a call with Sunshine Gasoline Distributors CEO Max Alvarez.

• The CFO held a call with Division of Bond Finance Director Ben Watkins.

• The CFO spoke with Franklin County Sheriff AJ Smith regarding COVID-19 response.

• The CFO spoke with Florida Dental Association Chief Legislative Officer Joe Anne Hart regarding COVID-19 response
