GRAYTON BEACH, Fla.– Following the fire at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis provided the following update on the ongoing fire investigation:

 

CFO and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis said, “My fire investigators have been on the scene all day conducting preliminary investigations to determine the cause of the blaze that was reported early this morning at The Red Bar in Grayton Beach. I’m very thankful that no one was injured and we are continuing our investigation but unfortunately, at this time, the property is considered a total loss.”

 

• Conducting physical investigation of the property as well as additional interviews
• Deployment of Accelerant Detection K-9
• Collecting and sending samples to the Bureau of Forensic Services for analysis
