CFO and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis said, “As Americans gather together to celebrate the Fourth of July, this is a time to reflect on our nation’s liberties. Nearly two hundred forty-three years ago, the United States declared its independence from Great Britain, and in true U.S. fashion this holiday is marked with fireworks, flags and public displays of patriotism.

 

“Enjoy this time with family and friends in commemoration of this country’s freedom. I encourage Floridians to stay safe and have a Happy Fourth of July!”
