CFO Jimmy Patronis Appoints Charles Ghini to Florida Blockchain Task Force
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis today announced the appointment of Department of Financial Services Chief Information Officer Charles Ghini to the Florida Blockchain Task Force. Ghini has more than 33 years of service to the state of Florida and brings extensive technical and leadership experience from his previous roles as Director of the Division of Telecommunications at the Department of Management Services, Chief Operating Officer of the State Technology Office, and Network Director at Florida A&M University.
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, "With Charles' vast knowledge in the information technology field, I'm confident that he will be an asset to the Blockchain Task Force. Not only is Charles a leader in the industry but he heads the development and implementation of policies and procedures for IT security, application development and system availability for the Department of Financial Services. I'm proud to have him join the task force charged with the development of a master plan to foster the expansion of the blockchain industry in our state."
