TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis released the following statement ahead of Veterans Day. 

CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “As we celebrate Veterans Day, we honor the brave men and women who have courageously fought to defend our freedom and who have selflessly served to protect our country. It is because of these heroes that we live in the greatest country in the world. With more than 1.5 million veterans that call our state home, I'm proud that Florida is recognized as one of the most military and veteran friendly states in the nation. I was honored to champion legislation this year to help protect Florida’s veterans from fraud and scams and I look forward to continuing to fight for our servicemembers just as they fought for us. This Veterans Day, I encourage all Floridians to join me in honoring our servicemembers past and present. Thank you for your service and God bless you all.
