TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Following his testimony on assignment of benefits abuse in our state at the Senate Banking and Insurance Committee meeting yesterday, Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis sent the following letter to the Florida Bar asking their organization to look into the unethical business models believed to be perpetuated by certain law firms in our state.
