TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – As Hurricane Irma moves closer to Florida’s shores, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis is reminding Floridians that personal safety comes ahead of physical possessions. He is strongly encouraging Floridians to seek safer ground away from the path of Hurricane Irma.
“Floridians have worked hard for their homes, and I know that it’s tough and terrifying to consider leaving, but Hurricane Irma is a powerful and dangerous storm and evacuating can save your life,” said CFO Patronis. “Any Floridians staying in their homes despite evacuation orders should evacuate and do so immediately. We will help consumers navigate through their insurance claims issues after the storm.”
