Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis is sending an anti-fraud strike team to Highlands County. The teams will go out to educate residents on the signs of fraud and to make sure that contractors aren’t breaking any laws when conducting repairs.
Patronis says they’ve already gotten reports of possible unnecessary roof repairs.
