Panama City, Fla. – Chief Financial Officer and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis coordinated Hurricane Michael disaster response and recovery efforts today at the Bay County Emergency Operations Center.
CFO Patronis said, “My top priority continues to be Urban Search and Rescue and ensuring no more lives are lost after this devastating storm ripped through the panhandle this week. We have over 1,700 of my personnel on the ground and we will be here until the job is done. We are also working tirelessly with emergency management teams to aid in recovery.
“I can ensure you that I will not rest until the panhandle has recovered from Hurricane Michael. We are in this together.”
