MIAMI, Fla. – Florida's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis met with law enforcement officials and first responders to discuss the impact and implementation of mental health benefits passed last year for those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

 

CFO Jimmy Patronis said, "After hearing from our first responders today, it is important that we continue to ensure that these brave men and women have access to all the resources needed to cope with traumatic events they face every day while protecting Floridians. We must continue to have their backs in their time of need, just as they have ours.”
