**Storm Alert** CFO Jimmy Patronis: Panhandle Residents Must Prepare Now for Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – As Potential Tropical Cyclone Sixteen churns in the Gulf of Mexico, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis urges Panhandle residents, especially in coastal communities, to prepare homes and businesses now for heavy rain and possible flooding.
 
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “Hurricane Season is not over, and Floridians must continue to remain prepared for storms that may come our way. 4 Storm Preparation Tips:
 
1. Take photos of items in your home to assist in the insurance claims process.
2. Use sandbags and plastic sheeting to protect against rising water.
3. Secure or bring in outdoor objects, such as grills and lawn furniture.
4. Gather all insurance, financial and other important documents and secure them in plastic bags.
