Share the Love by Searching for Valentine's Day Cash!

This week, our team at the Division of Unclaimed Property is helping Floridians find "love" by looking for accounts with Valentine's-themed names and urging them to search Florida's Unclaimed Property database. I encourage everyone to share the love with your friends, family, and even your business this Valentines Day by claiming your unclaimed property today! If your name or business includes the words love, heart, valentine, kiss, rose, flower, sweet, red, pink, or candy, search now for unclaimed property at FLTreasureHunt.gov. It's your money - treat yourself this Valentine's Day to some extra cash and claim it now! 

Lastly, I was happy to announce that member of my Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Bomb Squad Team has been deployed to Daytona to ensure safety during the Daytona 500 this weekend. As Floridians and NASCAR fans from around the world eagerly anticipate the big race, it is our top priority remains the safety of everyone involved. Florida's skilled bomb squad team is the best of the best and will help ensure a secure environment for drivers, crews, and visitors. I am grateful for their dedication and to all the first responders and law enforcement who contribute to making this event successful before and after the checkered flag drops.
