TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia highlighted the major accomplishments of his office and the Department of Financial Services (DFS) in 2025. CFO Ingoglia was appointed in July by Governor Ron DeSantis and in only five months of being in office, CFO Ingoglia has identified $1.86 billion in excessive spending in local governments, returned money back to Floridians through unclaimed property, supported Florida’s first responders and placed a renewed focus on DFS Criminal Investigations Division to arrest criminals committing fraud. Additionally, the CFO has focused on being an advocate for Florida insurance policyholders and insurer accountability.
