Senate Bill 262 – Technology Transparency (Senator Bradley) – This legislation prohibits a controller from collecting certain consumer information without the consumer’s authorization; requiring controllers that collect personal information to implement reasonable security procedures and practices to protect such information, etc.
- Senate Bill 262 was reported favorable in the Senate Commerce and Tourism Committee today.
