Professional Designations
Customer Representative applicants who hold the following professional designations are not required to sit for the customer representative examination:
- Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
- Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
- Associate in General Insurance (AINS) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
- Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from the Society of Certified Insurance Service Counselors
- Certified Insurance Representative (CIR) from the All-Lines Training Provider
- Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) from the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives
- Certified Professional Service Representative (CPSR) from the National Foundation for CPSR
- Chartered Customer Service Representative (CCSR) from the American Insurance College
- Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
- Insurance Customer Service Representative (ICSR) from Statewide Insurance Associates LLC
- Professional Customer Service Representative (PCSR) from the Professional Career Institute
Registered Customer Service Representative (RCSR) from an Accredited Postsecondary Institution in this State approved by the Department

- Registered Claims Adjuster (RCA) - from the American Insurance College
- Professional Claims Adjuster (PCA) from the Professional Career Institute

***NOTE: Individuals qualifying with a UCC designation certificate will be required to submit proof of precertification course and exam completion.
An original letter from the American College of Financial Services certifying an applicant's designation status is required.
Applicants for the following licenses, who hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation are not required to meet the pre-licensing educational requirement or sit for the examination:
- General Lines Insurance (Property, Casualty, Surety, Marine, Health and Miscellaneous Lines)
- Personal Lines Insurance
- Customer Representative
- Company & Independent Adjusters
