TRANS-FLORIDA CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY

On October 16, 2002, a Second Interim Claims Report was filed with the Second Judicial Circuit Court in and for Leon County, Florida ("Court") in the estate of Trans-Florida Casualty Insurance Company ("Trans-Florida").  On October 16, 2002, the Court issued an order approving the report.  All classes (Class 1 through Class 10) were reported, with monies being recommended on Class 1 and Class 2 only.  Notices were then sent to 4,651 Trans-Florida claimants who filed a proof of claim in the Trans-Florida estate. The notice informed them of the Receiver's recommendation concerning the classification and amount of their claim, along with instructions on how to proceed if a claimant objected to the recommendations.  All filed objections arising from this report have been resolved.

On February 16, 2005, a Third Interim Claims Report was filed with the Court in the estate of Trans-Florida. The Court issued an order approving the report on February 23, 2005. On March 9, 2005, notices were mailed to 3,477 claimants who filed a proof of claim in the estate, and who, as a result of the additional assets, had a change in the Receiver's recommended amount. The deadline for filing objections to the recommendations was April 25, 2005. Objections filed after that date were not considered.

On October 5, 2005, the Receiver filed a motion for approval of the Final Claims Report, the Final Distribution Report and approval to make a distribution to claimants in Classes 1 through 3. On October 14, 2005, an order was entered that granted approval for the Receiver to mail distribution checks representing 100% of the recommended and adjudicated amount to claimants in Classes 1, 2 and 3. As a result of the order, 3,216 claimants were approved to receive a distribution check. The checks were mailed on November 7, 2005. The majority of the checks amount to $100 and represent the statutory deductible that was applied by the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association ("FIGA") in the prior settlement of claims within the Trans-Florida estate.

On December 7, 2010, the Receiver filed a motion for approval of the First Amended Final Claims Report, Claims Distribution report, Distribution Accounting and approval to make a distribution to claimants in Classes 6 and 8. On December 7, 2010, an order was entered that granted approval for the Receiver to mail distribution checks representing 100% of the recommended and adjudicated amount to claimants in Classes 6 and 8. As a result of the order, 335 claimants were approved to receive a distribution check. The checks were mailed on December 17, 2010.

On April 2, 2015, the Order Approving Discharge Accounting, Authority to Reserve For Discharge Expenses, Authority to Reserve for Unclaimed Property Costs, Authorizing Reimbursement of Contributed Equity, Authorizing Destruction of Obsolete Records And Directing Final Discharge was signed by the Judge assigned by the Court to oversee Trans-Florida discharging the Receiver from any and all duties, obligations and liabilities in the administration of this estate as of 12:01 AM on March 31, 2015.
