Declaratory Statement Summaries

Declaratory Statements issued up to July 1, 2015 can be found by accessing the Division of Legal Services' page. Choose "State Fire Marshal" from the drop down menu for Division and "DS-Declaratory Statement" as the Document Type. You can also search for text within the document under the Full Text Search but be sure to put your text in quotations.

Declaratory Statements issued after July 1, 2015 can be found by accessing the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings' website. Choose "Department of Financial Services" as the Agency, "Declaratory Statement Final Order" as the Type, and "State Fire Marshal" as the Subject. You can also search for text within the document under the Search Orders via Text by indicating "Department of Financial Services" as the Agency and placing your text in quotations.
