Access to Florida PALM is managed through your agency. Please contact your supervisor and Security Access Manager (SAM) for instructions regarding logon issues. A list of agency SAMs can be found on the End User Support Page.

If you have a system request, question, or experience issues in Florida PALM submit a ticket by logging into the Florida PALM Solution Center Customer Portal and detail your issue or question prior to contacting the Florida PALM Solution Center. You can attach screenshots and other related information to assist the Solution Center with diagnosing your issue. This must be completed prior to the Solution Center diagnosing and resolving requests for issues.

Assets, Liabilities, and Equity Account ChartField values were configured/deployed at CMS Wave and are updated in the production environment, as needed by DFS A&A.  Current CMS Wave end users with the appropriate user role(s) can access a current list of Account ChartField values by logging in to Florida PALM and accessing the GLR091 – ChartField Value Report located at: NavBar > Navigator > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design ChartFields > Reports > ChartField Reports.

A report is available in Florida PALM that provides FLAIR values that correspond to Florida PALM values.

For the CMS Wave, Florida PALM configured Business Unit, Budget Entities, and Fund values according to the COA design. Category and Account values will be limited to only those needed to support the CMS Wave business processes.

Yes, when you click on the Look Up button (magnifying glass) next to a field, it will show available values. Note, only the first three hundred results display so you may need to use the search criteria to look for a specific value or refine the list of values.

Yes, submit a separate order form for each account. 

A Spreadsheet Journal Upload tool is available to enter and upload multiple journal entries to Florida PALM at the same time.

Yes, an approved or worked item is automatically removed from your worklist. You will still be able to search for and open the transaction.

No, transactions that require your approval will display in your worklist. End users will receive emails for transactions they submitted which have subsequently been deleted.

No, Disinvestments go through the General Ledger using a journal entry. This does not create a voucher.

Yes, the Totals Tab will indicate whether the Journal Status or Budget Status have been verified or if an error was returned. You can also click on the Error status for more information.

You can use the Go to Journal Entry Page link on the Journal Overview screen to see fund details of the disinvestment.

Budgetary funds are Florida PALM fund values where appropriations will be loaded. Transactional funds are Florida PALM fund values where day-to-day business occurs and where cash balances may be stored. Budgetary fund values will be numeric while transactional fund values can contain both alpha and/or numeric characters.

A subfund is a transactional fund in Florida PALM and is intended to represent lower level funds. They were referred to as the subaccount in legacy CMS. Agencies can transfer between subfunds of the same “parent” fund in Florida PALM.

Florida PALM checks the invested cash balance for disinvestment transactions. Central FLAIR will continue to be the enterprise cash and budget control and maintain those balances until the Central Wave is replaced.

A process to create a disinvestment journal that provides a quick lookup option for viewing the Budget Entity, Fund, and Account as well as the available balance to disinvest against.

The portal allows end users to submit tickets, review ticket status in real-time, and search the Solution Center Knowledge Base to find helpful resources. The Customer Portal launched in November 2024 for all end users. They can create a unique account with a login for personalized service. The customer portal provides a new way for the end user to correspond with the Solution Center team and enhance their customer experience.

The Ticket Request Form will no longer be available; ticket submission should be completed through the Customer Portal.
