CFO Jimmy Patronis Hosts ‘Fixing Problems for Floridians Fair’ in Orlando
~ CFO Invites Public to Consumer Assistance Fair to connect Floridians with DFS and State Government Related Resources ~
ORLANDO, Fla. – Today, Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis announced the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) will host a ‘Fixing Problems for Floridians Fair’ in Orlando on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. The event is open to the public and will consist of experts from DFS to assist Floridians with their issues and educate consumers on resources available to them.
CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “It’s been the honor of a lifetime to serve as Florida’s CFO, and one of my favorite parts of the job is connecting Floridians with the resources and services they need to fix their problems. As we go about our daily lives of working, raising a family, or running a business, problems arise and it’s important that Floridians understand that there are many state services designed to assist them and iron out those issues. My team at the Department of Financial Services is full of experts on a wide variety of insurance and financial issues, and they know how to get you the answers you need. If our office cannot assist, we will connect you with the state or local agency that can. I’ve spent 30 years in the restaurant industry, and I believe great customer service is at the heart of everything we do here at DFS. Please join us in Orlando and let my team go to work fixing problems for you!”
