~ CFO Patronis Moderates Veterans Panel on Mental Health and Fiscal Stability During Florida Commission on the Status of Women Roundtable ~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis provided remarks highlighting Florida Veterans during a Veterans Roundtable hosted by the Florida Commission on the Status of Women (FCSW). Following his remarks, CFO Patronis moderated a panel with Florida Lt. Governor Jeanette Nunez highlighting financial security for Florida’s Veterans and how best to assist veterans in their transition into civilian life after returning home from a deployment. The FCSW was created over three decades ago by the Florida Legislature to raise awareness and celebrate women's contributions and successes throughout the state.

CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “Since becoming CFO in 2017, I’ve prioritized the support of our active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families in Florida. With more than 1.4 million veterans who call Florida home, veterans are essential members of our community and deserve the utmost respect and admiration for their service to our country. Huge thanks to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women for hosting this important panel and to Lt. Governor Nunez for her participation in highlighting the mental health and veterans support issues that our brave men and women in uniform struggle with when returning home from deployment. These heroes are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our country to preserve our freedom and defend the homeland.
