FLUSAR Operations Level Rope Rescue - 40 Hours
Course Description
Rope Rescue Level I is a course designed to train rescuers in high and low angle rescue/recovery. This course meets and exceeds NFPA 1006 Chapters 5 & 6.1.

Pre-Requisites
Personnel who are members of a Florida State sponsored US&R team who are to be trained to the Rope Rescue Operations Level, must have understanding of NFPA 1670 6-2 Rope Awareness level prior to starting the operations level training. At a successful completion of the Operations level, the candidate will have an understanding of the functions and developments of NFPA 1670 6.3.
Florida Urban Search and Rescue System Information
Florida Urban Search and Rescue System will conduct operations at technical rescue incidents safely and effectively based on hazard analysis, risk assessment, training level of personnel, and availability of internal and external resources.
