Treasury Investment Pool
The Division of Treasury manages the Treasury Investment Pool. The Treasury Investment Pool is a fixed income investment operation for the State's general revenue and trust funds and funds of organizations participating in the Treasury Special Purpose Investment Account.
The Treasury Investment Pool is managed using conservative investment principles to provide liquidity and generate incremental returns for the State and other government-related organizations.

Trust Fund and Special Purpose Investment Account Statements for the previous month are posted on or about the 20th of each month.
The gross effective interest rate (annualized) for October 2023 is 2.5253%.
Fair Value of Investments Current Year
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the investment of State general revenue and trust funds as set forth in Chapter 17.61, Florida Statutes. Interest earnings from Treasury investments are allocated to general revenue unless the state agencies have placed trust fund monies in "invested status" in the State's accounting system.
Interest earnings are allocated to the general revenue fund, trust funds, and Special Purpose Investment accounts on a monthly basis. Trust fund balances and monthly account statements / ledgers are available by logging in to the Trust Funds application.
Information for Account Holders:
The Treasury Investment Council (Council) is established pursuant to Section 17.575, Florida Statutes. The Council shall assist the Investment Work Group and the CFO by providing guidance on high level investment related matters, including policy and strategy matters and review of performance relative to objectives.
The Council shall consist of at least five members who must possess special knowledge, experience, and familiarity in finance, investments, or accounting. The members of the Council shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the CFO.
The Treasury Investment Council meets semi-annually and currently consists of the following members:
