Qualified Servicing Entity (QSE)
The term Qualified Servicing Entity (QSE) refers to companies approved by the Department to adjust workers’ compensation claims on behalf of any authorized insurance company or self-insurer. QSE also submits workers’ compensation claims information to the Division and/or provides safety and loss control services to self-insurers.
QSEs are sometimes referenced in the workers’ compensation law and Florida Administrative Rule as a third-party administrator (TPA), servicing agent or other claims-handling entity.
Below is important information regarding assessment rates, annual maximum compensation rates, EDI filings (medical, indemnity and policy information), audit, and other QSE regulated activities.
